Haha! I know exactly what you mean! It was just a few months ago that I went through that same realization that everyone sits nicely at the table at the restaurant and I smile indulgently at younger moms still dealing with toddlers and infants. But no one calls me Mommy anymore. It is a significant milestone, a sweet spot where everyone is home, but grown enough to take care of themselves and to help out with the chores. (We’re still working on keeping Benji focused but that’s my own blog post.)
Enjoy it. But I know you will…you’re much better at that then I am. 🙂

We love the Bluebird and have convinced Darling Granddaughter #1 that it is a very rare and special place—it is the only Bluebird restaurant in the world. Every city has a Chilis and a McDonald’s. . . . but only Logan has the Bluebird. I love the murals of Logan. And the ironport. There aren’t many places where you can get that!

Yes, yes, yes. I love it. And even though I had to wipe a tear when I went past Dillards without needing to go see what kind of embroidered crisp white cotton baby clothes they were displaying, this season of not the mom of little kids anymore is a blessing. ESPECIALLY when they can be pointed in the direction of dirt. Welcome to the club, dear cousin!
