Holy moly. I am so fried from driving. But we did pass the Grand Canyon and saw a lot of very pretty red rocks on our drive. Plus, what would a family vacation be without a trip to the urgent care for stitches after a dangerous outdoor activity? Good times in the canal. Better times seeing my family.\u00a0<br><br>The upshot of all this is that I\u2019ve been eating like I\u2019ve been on a cruise, but I haven\u2019t written a single thing. Going to Idaho, land of many, many cows, is so great. There are so many delicious ice creams. If you haven\u2019t tried\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/caspersicecream.com\/\">Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches, or Casco (Nut Sundae on a Stick) by Casper\u2019s Ice Cream<\/a>, it\u2019s time you treated yourself. I bought boxes of factory seconds\u201425 for $6. Fifty ice cream sandwiches. Ahh. That\u2019s too much ice cream! And then again, it\u2019s not.<br><br>My uncle also reintroduced me to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/creamies.com\/\">Premium Creamies<\/a>. Have you tried these? It\u2019s the best ice cream popsicles out there.<br><br>We skipped going to the cheese factory for cheese curds (a.k.a. \u201csqueaky cheese\u201d) on this trip, and I\u2019m regretting it.<br><br>My daughters also fed the ducks at a park, and baby ducklings swam <br>right up to them and let them hold them in their arms. What\u2019s sweeter than a happy girl with a duckling in her arms? I submit that there\u2019s nothing sweeter.<br><br>It was nice to get out of the heat and into the mountains, but it\u2019s great to be home again. Coming home, back to order and schedules (and let\u2019s hope a lot less eating of ice cream, oh my heck) is always a little bit of a relief after a vacation.
