Because I’m a mom of readers, I have recently launched a pen name with a series of books my kids asked me to write, Candy Kingdom. Last year, I found a publisher for the series, which is a mash-up of Jumanji and Candy Land. It launches on 2/2. Groundhog Day! Book 1 is titled The Bored Game–because they’re bored and jump into the board game. See what I did there?
A Sweet and Scary Adventure
When Ellie and her brother Zeb get dropped off for vacation at Grandma’s house, they know they are in for a rough summer. No TV, raisin cookies, a very grumpy cat, and everything fun is off-limits!
